My Story

Hi, I’m Paula, the heart behind Sugar Bloom Waffles by Moonrise.

Originally from Brazil, I grew up surrounded by the joy of baking, cooking, and sharing food with family and friends. Over time, that love turned into a passion for creating desserts that feel special and memorable.

What started as a small dream slowly bloomed into Moonrise Cottage Bakes, and from there the idea for Sugar Bloom Waffles was born.

I wanted to create something playful, beautiful, and delicious — a dessert that feels magical. Every waffle pop is made fresh and decorated with care, because I believe desserts should bring joy not only through flavor, but through creativity and presentation.

Sugar Bloom is more than just waffles — it’s about sweet moments, celebration, and sharing a little bit of happiness with every bite.
